Job:
Quantifying the influence of the pedestrian and cycle bridge on the flood discharge of the river Inn
Challenges:
The following structural parts of the bridge influence the flood wave of the Inn: the abutments of the bridge, the two bridge piers and the access roads on both sides of the bridge structure. In addition, the design of the confluence of the Inn tributary ‘Rettenbach’ and the Inn river will be as close to nature as possible. This will also be taken into account in the flood simulations.
